Small Group Workouts

For these small groups, you sign up as a GROUP. Only one parent has to email to set things up and only one parent will pay (group can split it up afterwards) but when you are picking a time to sign up you are signing up a group of 3-9 kids.

These would be groups you put together to do hour long sessions with Sam throughout the summer. Our small groups are a great way to keep your son/daughter’s team together, improving with their teammates, developing their skills in a challenging environment. When we are able to do groups of friends/teammates like this, we can work in some small-sided competition and concepts your team/program are trying to incorporate. One of our favorite sayings is “A rising tide lifts all boats!” Our small groups are a great way to raise the tide of your group in the off season! Build on the momentum that has been built by your core, committed group this past season, and keep it going through the off season with targeted, expert instruction!

Emailing Sam is the only way to book these times for your group, if you call in for a time we won’t be able to book anything over the phone. The times are first come first serve, so act fast!

Each hour-long session with Sam is $120. This price does not change with the number of kids. We are going to offer discounted packages for groups that want to do more than one session. You can still do one individual session for your group if you would like as well.

Sam Meerstein serves as both the Manager of the Wausau facility and its go-to trainer. As a high school athlete, Sam was a 4-year starter at Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran High School, playing under Hall of Fame Coach Mark Meerstein. He earned numerous accolades, including 3-time 1st Team All-Conference Player and 2-time 1st Team All-State. Sam is the Green Bay Metro All-Time Leading Scorer and holds his high school’s records for scoring and rebounding.

In college, Sam played at UW-Platteville and later at Concordia University-Wisconsin, where he was a 3-year starter and team captain. He contributed to multiple conference championships and earned academic honors, including CSC Academic All-District.

Sam holds undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and a Master of Business (MBA) in Management and Operations. His love for sports extends beyond basketball to baseball, football, soccer, and more. Sam enjoys golfing, traveling, and water sports like skiing and wakeboarding.
