It’s a place where hard work, perseverance, and overcoming adversity are ingrained in young athletes, teaching them to become the best versions of themselves on and off the court. Generation X parents remember honing their skills in their driveways without fancy uniforms or distant tournaments. They practiced with a boom box, dreaming of winning championships, starring in high school games, and playing against legends like Cheryl Miller, Dr. J, Magic, Larry, and Michael. The driveway was their arena, where dreams took flight.

The Driveway provides the environment and tools for dedicated athletes to put in the hard work and grit needed to achieve their dreams.
Ryan Borowicz, Owner of The Driveway, has dedicated his life to basketball both as a player and a coach. His passion for the game is reflected in his extensive career, from setting records in high school and excelling in college to playing professionally and coaching at various levels. Since founding The Driveway in 2016, Ryan has worked with thousands of young athletes, helping them develop their skills and character through his unique blend of old school work ethic and new school methods.
Ryan has been married to his wife, Melissa, since 2002. They have three sons: Bryce (17), Cooper (15), and Griffin (13), and reside in De Pere, WI. Melissa is the Owner and CEO of Utech Consulting, a business specializing in customized organizational development for transforming organizations, teams, and individuals www.utechod.com. Outside of work, Ryan is passionate about fly fishing and spends his free time wading or floating the rivers and streams of Northeast Wisconsin.
